Point Fraser Foreshore Development

project

A multi-objective project aimed at nutrient attenuation of stormwater discharge into the Swan River, habitat creation, foreshore stabilisation, provision of public access and recreational facilities, and the development of interpretive opportunities for the community.

A narrative of Point Fraser has been explored within our intervention on the site, in a proposal imbued with public awareness, ecology and an architectural concern for nature; for its conservation and its inspiration. Thus landscape not only locates or serves as a backdrop to stories but is also a growing, changing plane that engenders its own stories.
