The Operational Team was developed in Syrinx to ensure the practical transfer of design objectives and guidelines into on-ground works.
The team members are qualified scientists and horticulturalists, with applied skills in ecological restoration, minesite rehabilitation weed control, and bioengineering methods for slope and river stabilisation.
Operational experience covers the following fields:
- Ecological restoration and remediation works (site planning & preparation, weed control, planting, seeding, maintenance & monitoring)
- Bioengineering works (slope and river stabilisation)
- Construction of wetlands and biofilters for wastewater treatment, habitat creation and landscape enhancement
- Erosion control + management
- Construction management / supervision of civil and landscape works
- Specialist landscape constructions (cascades, waterfalls)
